Some of the parks offer the unique opportunity to experience camping near - and sometimes even on - the beach. The thwack of a golf club, the hum of the wind buffeting towering sand dunes, the splash of a dive into a perfect pool—the desert region is a sensory feast. I know what you're really trying to figure out: Who am I ? I've been working in Time Travel and Rock Bands pretty much non-stop since graduation in 1979, either with touring Musicals or with Summertime Concert Festivals. Those jobs were always very-full-time, and I'm okay with that. After all, I can say I've worked in 49 states and worked with all sorts of people. Now I am at GOROPS leading the "Blockbuster Entertainment" outreach charge for better adventures in the great outdoors of California. My side interests include photography (landscape/ weather/ real-estate), NASA & space travel, and embarking on road trips in my trusty Cuda. I also probably spend too much on NETFLIX, but someday I'll hopefully break that habit and see more IMAX movies in theatres. Until then, it's a great way to stay catch up with my TV and Movie Star colleagues.

Where am I and where have I been ? History is in Rock and Roll promotions, appearing at a time way after the roots of rock and roll and the great migration from the UK releasing a rhythm-and- blues audience to artists covering R&B songs. This resulted in me bleeding out the heart and soul out of our original foundational clients. As a record producer I saw the market potentially decline and began to search for a new sound and job opp. GOROPS had the answer. I joined GOROPS to steer all folks to events and de-conflict work related attitudes that most vacationers experience working is a closed environment. I could relate to people and their cultural background and introduce them to break boundaries of the closed office and big city expressions of emotional crunch that people were feeling, but didn’t talk about. An awakening in Great Californian American culture mission began to take place.

My background is in sustainable development, travel innovation, and the requirement(S) of corporate and governments to collaborate for a strategic and super fun vacation with socioeconomic benefits. I am passionate about road tripping initiatives and the development of the next generation of travel using newer tech options like High Speed Rail. At GOROPS, my team helps devise a balance and breadth for client employees, vacationers, and boards that both resonates and relieves societal stress at work. At GOROPS, my track- record of producing enduring results for high echelon clients including extreme sports, hospitality technology, safety and education, is unmatched. My job allows me to provide powerful positioning with key influencers in business for active exploratory leisure time mission fulfillment in the great California outdoors.

WATER

Huntington State Beach is located in the City of Huntington Beach, between Santa Ana River in Newport Beach and Beach Boulevard, where the city begins. Two miles of long sandy beach offers really rad surfing, fishing, beach volleyball, swimming, romantic walks and sunbathing. It has several basketball courts and fire-rings for evening bonfires. Lifeguards patrol the beach year-round. The 121-acre state park was created in 1942 to protect the beaches fragile environment, especially the endangered California least terns, which use the beach as their nesting sanctuary, and snowy plovers, which are threatened on the entire West Coast.

Joshua Tree National Park is an American national park in southeastern California, east of Los Angeles, near San Bernardino and Palm Springs. The park is named for the Joshua trees (Yucca brevifolia) native to the Mojave Desert. Originally declared a national monument in 1936, Joshua Tree was redesignated as a national park in 1994 when the U.S. Congress passed the California Desert Protection. Straddling the border between San Bernardino County and Riverside County, the park includes parts of two deserts, each an ecosystem whose characteristics are determined primarily by elevation: the higher Mojave Desert and the lower Colorado Desert. The Little San Bernardino Mountains traverse the southwest edge of the park.

Yosemite Valley is the crown jewel of the park. Just seven miles long by one mile wide, it represents less than 1% of the park’s 1,200 square miles.
